Redstone and speckled clays are favorite clay bodies that I use to either make larger, more structural pieces, or to incorporate carving and texture where the glaze can pool or break and create an interesting contrast. I tend to use these clay bodies in my production of high-use pieces intended for restaurants and bars, when a consistent yet unique look and feel is desired.
